Different Perceptions ist ein AI-Kurzfilm über die fragile Beziehung zwischen Wahrnehmung und Realität. Der Film reflektiert, wie künstliche Intelligenz die Art verändern könnte, wie Menschen Natur, Tiere und das bislang Unbekannte sehen. Daraus resultierend wandelt sich die alte Welt in eine neue – eine, die möglicherweise wahrhaftiger und zugleich poetischer ist.

 

Different Perceptions is an AI short film about the fragile relationship between perception and reality. The film reflects on how artificial intelligence could change the way humans see nature, animals, and the unknown. As a result, the old world transforms into a new one — one that may be more truthful and, at the same time, more poetic.

Die Botschaft des Films: Visuelle AI sind nicht nur schöne Bilder, sondern – je nach Zusammenstellung – solche, die uns tiefer und zugleich poetischer zur Wahrheit führen könnten. Was also bisher Aufgabe der sogenannten schönen Künste war, erobert zunehmend unseren gelebten Alltag – vielleicht schon in ein, zwei oder drei Jahren.

Das Fazit: Visuelle KI wird unser Verständnis der Welt und ihrer Perspektiven stärker verändern, als es die Renaissance – die bislang größte Revolution im menschlichen Geist – tat.

The message of the film: Visual AI is not merely about beautiful images. Depending on how they are composed, these images may lead us more deeply — and more poetically — toward truth. What was once the realm of the so-called fine arts is increasingly entering our lived everyday reality — perhaps already within one, two, or three years.

The conclusion: Visual AI will change our understanding of the world and its perspectives more profoundly than the Renaissance — until now the greatest revolution in the human mind — ever did.
