Der fliegende Chaplin

Nein, oder ja, er konnte viel, aber wohl doch nicht fliegen. Ob er es gerne gekonnt hätte? Die Antwort ist nicht überliefert, aber wahrscheinlich hätte Charlie Chaplin gerne das gekonnt, was nahezu alle Vögel können – und in gewisser Weise war er ja auch einer, also ein komischer Vogel. Na gut, er war eher ein bunter Vogel, aber ein bunter, der sich zumeist in Schwarz einkleidete.

Hier hängt er nun an einer Häuserecke, grinsend, ohne sein berühmtes Bärtchen, weil diese gestutzte Ansammlung von Gesichtshaaren von der KI nicht gemocht wird. Warum? Weil es zu sehr an den Österreicher erinnert – und damit an den anderen bunten Vogel jener Zeit, der sich allerdings auf die Farbe Braun festlegte (ohne sie selbst allzu oft zu tragen).

Braucht die Welt seltsame Vögel? Zumindest solche, die sich über sich selbst lustig machen und an Häuserecken schwebend die Menschen überraschen. Ja, diese Vögel benötigen wir, diese müssen wir unter Naturschutz stellen, denn nur so, wirklich nur so, bleibt die Welt schön bunt!

The Flying Chaplin

No, or yes, he could do many things, but flying wasn’t one of them. Would he have liked to be able to? The answer is not documented, but probably Charlie Chaplin would have liked to do what almost all birds can do – and in a way, he was one, a peculiar bird. Well, he was more of a colorful bird, but a colorful one who usually dressed in black.

Here he hangs now on the corner of a building, grinning, without his famous mustache, because this trimmed collection of facial hair is not liked by AI. Why? Because it too much resembles the Austrian – and thus the other colorful bird of that time, who, however, committed to the color brown (without wearing it too often himself).

Does the world need peculiar birds? At least those who make fun of themselves and surprise people by hovering on building corners. Yes, we need these birds, we must place them under conservation, because only in this way, really only in this way, does the world remain beautifully colorful!
